A really poor loss in Africa against Ceuta is followed by an even more disappointing loss in Valladolid. Where do we go from here? Cádiz Vs Málaga Review

One step forward, two steps backwards as Cádiz put on one of their worst performances of the season against high flying Málaga. The same old defensive mistakes and total lack of any attacking threat were back with a vengeance as if the change of manager hadn't happened. Cádiz Vs Mirandes (A) Review

Sergio González is back in the dugout and he brings us a first win since early January. Two early goals from rejuvenated looking Brian Ocampo and Yussi Diarra were enough for Cádiz to hold off Mirandés. We made hard work of it in the second half but the defence held strong, boosted by a return to action of the Serbian Wall, Bojan Kovacevic. Cádiz Vs Real Zaragoza Review

Another awful game, losing at home to the bottom club Zaragoza meant the end of Gaizka Garitano's time in charge of Cádiz. We try and avoid talking about the game and concentrate on the change and what it will mean to the team. An absolute disaster-class in the Basque country as Cádiz lose 3-1 to Eibar and continue their awful run. An another abject Cádiz performance, going down 2-0 to the youngest side in the league was the catalyst for all the pent up frustration to finally explode. This felt like the complete rupture of any sort of connection between the fans and the manager, his days are now surely numbered despite many of the problems not really being his fault. Cádiz Vs Burgos (A) Review

Cádiz came away from El Plantío with a valuable point in a game where they deserved absolutely nothing. Sometimes you just need something to go your way and this could be a turning point. When it rains it pours. A postponed game finally got underway a day later but Cádiz couldn't break the losing habit. A very disappointing loss in Huesca has opened up some old and some new wounds in this Cádiz team and it wasn't just on the pitch where the headlines were being made this week. Cádiz were unable to stop the rot as Granada came to town on a miserable wintery Saturday night.
