Season Review 25/26

Join us to look back at one of the worst season's of football ever. A historically bad performance from Cádiz that somehow didn't get us relegated. We run through the games, the managers, the losses and lots more so we never have to talk about it again! Cádiz Vs Racing Santander (A) Review

The curtain finally comes down on this calamitous season with another performance to forget. We try not to focus too much on the game but obviously talk about Álex Fernández as he scores in his final ever game for Cádiz. Cádiz Vs Leganés (H) Review

Salvation! Finally! Cádiz manage to drag themselves over the line to safety with one game remaining much to relief of the record crowd in attendance. Three goals and a clean sheet, what was everyone worried about? We discuss all that went on Sunday as well as all the other usual features and look forward to the now stress free trip to Cantabria. Ese Cádiz OE!!! 

Cádiz Vs Castellon (A) Review

An unexpected and slightly lucky point in Castellon helps Cádiz to another small step towards safety. Pelayo comes in from the cold to become the hero as he scores the goal and puts in a great defensive performance. Matt is back to help digest all that went on and look forward to the now crucial final home again against Leganés on Sunday evening and as always we have the predictions (Mark is the champion!), man of the match and all the other usual features. Cádiz Vs Depor (H) Review & Tacita Talks with Paul Giblin

Cádiz Vs Cultural Leonesa (A) Review

Just when you thought Cádiz had pulled themselves virtually safe, they manage to revert to type and throw away 2 points. All Antoñito's good work undone by some of the worst defending and decision making we've seen this season (and that is quite an achievement). We discuss all the key moments and more importantly if this team is capable of clinging onto safety in the Segunda Division. Cádiz Vs Las Palmas Review

Cádiz finally show some fight under Imanol Idiakez, the new manager, but once again it leads to nothing. With only 5 games to go, the surprise is that we are not already in the relegation zone. We do manage to find some small positives in the 2-1 loss to a very good Las Palmas side but is it too little too late? Its Groundhog day again as Cadiz lose, again. This week's pod is more of a therapy session as we try and come to terms with an increasingly likely relegation. Cádiz Vs Andorra Review

We're running out ways to describe the continuos losses but here we are again. A seventh consecutive home defeat, Cádiz's worst ever season, but maybe, just maybe we finally saw something positive, something that might just keep us out of the relegation battle. That something is a 37 year old Lucas Pérez. Who hasn't played for over a year but did more in a 35 minute cameo than quite a few of the squad have done all season.
